The categorization of drugs might seem arbitrary and subject to different opinions. This point is illuminated by the fact that marijuana is a Schedule I drug on par with heroin in our state -- whereas it's legal for recreational and medical use in other states. There is clearly a difference of opinion here.
The Foundation for Advancing Alcohol Responsibility reports that 8.7 million young people between 12 and 20 years of age drink alcohol. In the state of Georgia, figures reveal that 23.6 percent of youngsters in this age category have consumed alcohol within the last 30 days.

A 49-year-old school bus driver was arrested and charged with drunk driving while she was driving middle school children to school in Walton County, Georgia. The woman was arrested last month following a report that she had been driving the school bus erratically.
